For the Love of Linen
on
Everyone loves linen for its breathable durability, but did you know it’s also earth-friendly? In fact, linen is 100% biodegradable. It produces zero waste and it even reduces your carbon footprint by retaining carbon!
If you didn’t know already, linen is the oldest fabric in the world, dating as far back as 4500 BC. It’s created from the woven fibres of a flax plant. These plants are extremely easy to grow and require very little watering. Every bit of the plant is used up. it’s also cost effective!

Another feature that's not commonly known about linen is that it’s highly absorbent. It can absorb about 20% of its own weight in moisture while still feeling dry. Now you know how your linen pieces always feel so fresh and cool!
Linen is also allergenic and anti-bacterial and recommended for people who suffer from allergies. This makes for the perfect microclimate for skin!

If that isn’t impressive enough, linen is also thermo-regulating. This makes it suitable for any season, even winter! It’s constructed with hollow fibres which act as natural insulators that work to retain heat and keep you warm throughout the colder months.
